Dr. Phelps has been cultivating her public speaking skills for over twenty years. Dr. Phelps is a subject matter expert with background and experience in culture and diversity, community, health and wellness, education and grief. Dr. Phelps is purpose-driven and results-oriented. Her hands-on love first approach moves and unites audiences of all ages and demographics. Dr. Phelps designed, advocated and presented senior Lunch and Learns for the YMCA of Arlington beginning in 2011. In 2016, Dr. Phelps expanded her public speaking career to include community and cultural based topics with summits. These summits were designed based on socioeconomic needs of those living in the South Hemphill Heights Community. Dr. Phelps' experience open door policy and love for change moved her into other areas such as the being the quest speaker at the University of Texas at Arlington Public Health Department.
